Wear Your Hat Day - Supporting Brain Tumour Research

On Friday 27th March 2020, Haberdashers' Aske's Crayford Academy took part in a national awareness raising and fundraising day to support Brain Tumour Research. Although schools were closed, staff and pupils took pictures of themselves wearing their hats and managed to raise £1044. 00 (so far!)

Friday was always going to be Wear a Hat Day at Crayford Academy. Emma Bugg, a Year 12 pupil at the academy suffered considerably with a brain tumour and the pupils and staff all wanted to do something in support of Emma, her family and other families who have suffered from Brain Tumours.
