At a time where we are being told nationally to expect big drops in attainment, students at Haberdashers Crayford Academy continued to hold their own and bucking the trend. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our students have shown to achieve these results. Many have secured impressive destinations including at excellent universities, such as University of Nottingham and Loughborough University, as well as students who are embarking on apprenticeships in Engineering and Business Administration & International Events. We are also pleased to celebrate a confirmed acceptance of a student into the Royal Air Force for Aviation Studies.
We have many individual success stories including:
- Shaira Louis who achieved A,A,B and is going to study Law at Lancaster University,
- Sophia On, who achieved A,B,C, and is going on to University of Nottingham to study Economics,
- Ewan Watkins who achieved A,B,C and is going to study Automotive Engineering at Brunel University
So many of our students have achieved personal bests and top results and we are proud of them all. We have every confidence that all our sixth formers leave us well-prepared and ready for their next steps.
Executive Headteacher Steve Wheatley said: “We are so proud of our students and know these qualifications, alongside the skills they have developed as part of our wider offer, provide these young people with the platform to be highly successful in the future. Our sixth form continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to welcoming more students to the school to share in our future success.”Find out more about the Sixth Form at Haberdashers’ Crayford Academy by visiting www.habscrayford.org.uk/sixth-form/welcome
