Sixth Form Life
For our Sixth Form students learning extends far beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities designed to broaden horizons, develop leadership skills, and prepare students for life beyond school. From supporting younger pupils through community initiatives such as World Book Day, to exploring future pathways at careers events, undertaking subject-specific fieldwork, participating in charitable activities, and engaging with the rich heritage of the Haberdashers’ network, students are encouraged to develop new skills, experiences, and perspectives. These opportunities enrich our students’ academic studies, foster personal growth, and help them become confident, well-rounded young people ready to make a positive contribution to their communities and future careers.

World Book Day at Shenstone School
A group of Sixth Form students visited three Shenstone sites to share their love of reading with younger pupils. It was a rewarding and inspiring experience for all involved.

Visiting Haberdashers’ Hall
Sixth Form students enjoyed the opportunity to visit the historic Haberdashers’ Hall in London, gaining a deeper understanding of the Company’s heritage and the opportunities available through the Haberdashers’ network.

A Level Geography Field Trip
Our Year 12 geographers travelled to Yorkshire to collect data for their coursework, investigating coastal management at Hornsea, regeneration in Scarborough, and ecosystems in Dalby Forest. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment throughout the trip were a credit to the school.
